Yeah! Sewing on black fabric is astoundingly difficult!Originally posted by choco B:I sew out of necessity (repair work, buttons, etc) ... never for recreation heheh. And much prefer to use a machine cos it's fast.
jetta's artwork is impressive!
I used to do jigsaw puzzles too though I'd be real slow whilst doing it cause I'd be totally relaxed and not in any kinda hurry at all. (But of course, have to lock the cats out of the room cause they'll come and kaypoh and swat the pieces with their paws or sit DOINK! right on your completed portions!Originally posted by elindra:Wow you girls really have the patience.

Oh man, there were stacks and stacks of parchment paper from Pergamo! Different colours, textures and designs too! Sorry, I didn't check out the prices for those.Originally posted by NekoRin:Hmm they for sell parchment paper for papercrafts?
How much are those??![]()
Do you remember the 'proper' way of sewing on buttons? That method requires a toothpick or matchstick placed right under the button you're sewing. Lots of people just anyhow sew buttons using any ol' technique, as long as the button stays on, they're happy!Originally posted by elindra:At least choco can do repair work. They have several types of paints in tubes... but not sure if they are for water color or not. You can give them a ring to check.Originally posted by elindra:Btw Rhonda, do they sell water color paints in tubes
Nope, I'm doing another kind of craft, trying to incorporate parchment craft's embossing into what i'm doingOriginally posted by Rhonda:Oh man, there were stacks and stacks of parchment paper from Pergamo! Different colours, textures and designs too! Sorry, I didn't check out the prices for those.
They had boxes and boxes of Pergamo design books too! They were spread out in two areas though - behind the cashier, on the boxes on the floor near the window, and in the next room.
You do parchment craft? It looks so pretty and I've been meaning to pick it up 'one day'.

I had a box of lovely watercolour pencils that I loved sooooo much! They're some new thang - colour pencils that you can apply dabs of water too, and the effect can be just like watercolor!Originally posted by elindra:Not sure if I wanna buy since I've not painted in a long long time
I spent hundreds on my paints in the past and now what is left of them have all dried up.
Still have my color pencils with me
Don't even know if I can paint now.![]()
