When you're ill, do you see the doc ...

  ... or do you self-medicate?
  
  I ask because there seems to be a lotta people in Club 30 who'll complain that they'll ill, but will refuse to go to the doctor! You know who you are, ah!!
  
  Anyways, what puts you off seeing the doc? Did anything happen to make you decide not to seek the doc's help when you're ill?

  i dont see doc..

  Most of the time I don't.
  Because quite frankly, for things like flu, the body is already doing its job of fighting the virus, all you really need to do is to get lots of rest and fluids. Doctors prescribe too many antibiotics for minor ailments.

  I believe it's my body's own way of dispeling the toxins for my body

  what's the point when you're half ill, but not totally well.. and hovering around there...
  
  the doc won't give you medical leave, he'll give you a bunch of pills readily available, and he'll hit you for about $40
  
  and he'll give you antibiotics for no apparent reason...
  
  then you gotta go back to work feeling worse, and $40 out of pocket...

  See doctor only to get MC one. and some CMI doctor dont even have toilet paper in the toilet. (You can see I am still pissed off over this. no pun intended)
