Budgets...

  Who here has a budget / sticks to it? I've found out that I need to save up more, especially since we've just taken up a home loan! How do you guys keep to your budget for the month?

  Stop buying 'wants' and concentrate on your 'needs'
  
  Also, we try to plan the bills to arrive near the date of our paychecks so any pay we get is used for the bills first and we get to spend what is leftover
  
  As for savings.... I don't have the discipline so I have it in the form of insurance and the savings plan with the bank where they automatically deduct from your account into another

  put aside money...
  
  $10 a day for my iMac
  
  and there's a percentage i will not touch unless emergency..
  
  or you can start another bank account.. each time you get your paycheque, you put an amount in that bank account so it's "out of reach"
