Didn't assume anything, just that i think it something that is not fair to complain the public transport as that is something that as i say before cannot be solve easily and will always exist whenever we go.Originally posted by Rhonda:Did I ever say that peak hour traffic is a breeze in other countries??
Please do not assume that because I complain about the public transport here and I'm leaving for a different country, it means that I'm leaving for that country because of the public transport here, ok!
Hey, then don't impose your ideas of whether it's 'fair' to complain about public transport or not cause I personally don't care if you think it's 'fair' or not, I dislike the system, and I shall go ahead and complain about it.Originally posted by strikefreedom:Didn't assume anything, just that i think it something that is not fair to complain the public transport as that is something that as i say before cannot be solve easily and will always exist whenever we go.
And i will say one more time, you are going to migrate there for any reasons is none of my business and i choose melbourne as an example of having the same problem as we are now is simply becos i have live there for 3-4 years. simply as that.

6 million is nothing to the government. Wait till you hear this Hong Kong speaker says we need at least 10 million. This one is called something.Originally posted by Rhonda:This question, of course, is contrary to the govt's plans to hit a population of what... 6 million??
If I'm not wrong, we currently have 4.5 million now.
And if you look around, our resources are almost bursting at the seams already! Look at how insanely (and uncomfortably, and stinkingly) crowded our trains and our buses get during peak hours!!
I'm going to dig up statistics on population density, if possible.
In the meantime, I'm just glad that I'm leaving this place and won't stand the chance of being edged off the coastlines of the island-state!
I'll be quoting a few Club 30 peeps here, cause some really good points were brought up in our discussion in our Jive Pad.
That is becoming a very serious problem in Japan right now. Lots of young people don't give a flying fuck about anything anymore.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:something wrong. Means that lots of people no jobs and students lose interest in studies because after graduation no jobs. Study also no use.
Korea also. Can't remember a phrase which the media used to describe them.Originally posted by av98m:That is becoming a very serious problem in Japan right now. Lots of young people don't give a flying fuck about anything anymore.
Yes. Yes. Yes. I've been away for 14 years now. With each infrequent visit back, that's the first thing I notice, wondering did we have a population boom? Where did all these "extra" people come from? Friends there clued me in on the govt's population plan. But you know, with so many people packed into one tiny island, I feel that Singaporeans have gotten so rude! Just my 2 cents.Originally posted by Rhonda:This question, of course, is contrary to the govt's plans to hit a population of what... 6 million??

it's like a whole generation deciding to give up on traditional industries and jobs.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Korea also. Can't remember a phrase which the media used to describe them.
Today ST also report that Japan needs to wake up and do something, if not they will lose out.
Up to them. Anyway, like that better. We got less competition for jobs. But I doubt so. They are very creative. So, I guessed their creativity will help them sustain for a while.
