What's there to pity? It's not like they're imprisoned on board wor... they CHOSE to be on board!
It can be such a luxurious lifestyle! Massage, fine dining, etc.
Different people have different concepts of what is fun, what is relaxing. One man's meat is another man's poison.
If I ever marry a tycoon, I'd LOVE to spend a few months every year on board that luxury ship, man!

When I was in Baltimore for a month, I couldn't drive and didn't own a vehicle and public transport there was pretty yucks and without a car, you really cannot access a lot of places in the US.
And so, almost everyday, after my clinical attachment, I'd hang out at the hospital gift shop. I soooo gian shopping that even the gift shop could keep me entertained! Sometimes, really got nothing to buy, but buy a pen or sweet or magazine or postcard also good enough.
Methinks I might be a shopping addict.
When I travel, I usually buy souvenirs to remind me of the trip too. I think that's a but-of-course kinda thing for almost everyone, unless you're one of those seasoned travellers who travel so often that you become sian liao!Originally posted by skeujin:no need to think. i confirm tt u r one....

We are not seasoned travellers but hubby is not a souvenirs buyer. Because I have a crappy camera, I usually buy postcards to compliment my picture taking of places of interest. Hubby said "no need lah, just print off the internet, can liao!" *ahem*Originally posted by Rhonda:When I travel, I usually buy souvenirs to remind me of the trip too. Usually, I end up with such fat and heavy luggage on my way back that sometimes, don't have space to buy souvenirs for some friends!
I'm always amazed by folks who can bring home a lotta snacks and souvenirs to distribute cuz, waaaaah... got SOOOO much luggage space meh?
