they do it as a precaution because i just did a personal income tax for this retired doctor..
he's dividend income alone is almost 80k.
some businessmen do their work overseas but earns lotsa rental income too..
basically income above 20k they will tax..
btw this iras is pissing me off..izzit spelt as installment or instalment?

for a chargeable income of 320k and above..
its 44850 for first 320k and 21% for the subsequent remaining amount.. -
