A colleague of mine almost got divorced a few years ago. She cried when she told us about her son's sudden behavioural changes (he was 7-8 years old then) and how he suddenly came to her crying one night, asking if she and daddy can stay together or not.

I'm seventeen now ....

so far I only have my mum's, my aunt's and my granny's side of the story.
I'm alright now... just that not very close with my bio dad ...
so i'm kinda cold towards him ....

With increasing divorce rates, we may see more cohabitation outside of marriage instead. Divorce is messy and very expensive, especially for the men. If you are bored and want to see real drama with people sliming each other, just head to the family courts.
Every thing comes out there.....
Husband: She was not a virgin when I married her...she slept with ABC...she shoplifted...her boyfriend is a drug addict....I don't think the children are mine...
Wife: He surfed for porn....he visited Geylang brothels...he pocketed petty cash from his office...
And then there is video footage and photographs from private investigators...in the end the children really suffer. How do you expect the children to respect either parent after such a divorce? -

It's all about falling in love first, and then wanting to spend the rest of your life with your Significant Other.
But, it seems that these days, falling in love is falling behind other priorities liao. In fact, it seems like it isn't even necessary to fall in love before getting married... I mean, just look around at some couples and it's clear to see.
I've had girlfriends come up to me with their love problems, like, "Who should I choose? Guy A or Guy B?"
"Well, who do you love?"
"Erm... Guy A earns more, but he's always busy at work. Guy B dotes on me and spends time with me, but I cannot quit my job ever if I choose him."
"OK... so who do you love?"
"Erm... dunno ley... But I think lifestyle-wise, I'll be more comfortable with Guy A..." And mind you, that was a REAL conversation! -

When you walk into the show room, it was like love at first sight, the lines, the trim, the aerodynamic design are gorgeous. Then you start to look at the front, the back and the side to make sure that the car looks good in all angle. After that, you insert your key and start the engine. You let the car idle for a awhile as you wait for the pistons to get lubricated before stepping on the accelerator. While doing that you listen to the growl of the engine, make sure the sound of the engine is sexy like a V8.
Once out of the car park, you set your car to different gear and different speeds and you start to explore the limits of the car. Before you finish with the test drive, the finale will be to check out the reverse gear just to make sure the moving backward is just as fun as moving forward.
When you are done with the driving, you check out the fuel consumption and the cost of servcing the car.
Once you are happy with everything, you sign the contract and you get the car. -

why?
because one of the clause under "Family Charter" allow the reason to divorce as "unreasonable behaviours"
you think man will file divorced under such clause?
man will take whtever the female partner do, as they understand love, care and accomodation.
female will pick at their husband - not earning enough, not caring enough, not helping out with the house work, not friendly to their mother, not givng them enough freedom, not bring them to travel..... and yet most of the time, the wife won't even spend time to cook a good dinner for their husband. -
