Your concentration gets spread out over several tasks at the same time. Depending on what those tasks are, it might or might not be possible to focus well on each and every one of them.
It's still ok if all the tasks are non-threatening. But I guess when dealing with critical tasks, better not multi-task!
I'm also wondering if this multi-tasking thing could be responsible for increased stress levels that end up manifesting as stress-related health problems too?
Besides, if you multi-task at work and appear so efficient, the boss will give you more and more tasks!

dun worry..i time myself very well..
i know when to submit a report and when not to..so i'll have fixed amount of work daily..
time control another important skill..for example i'm not so stupid to go hand up a report at 5 o clock..i'll be asking for more trouble..so i'll take my time to do,double check for errors even though i think i'm more or less right and pass up at 6.10 den i go home.. -

There's only a trickle of activity today! hehe!
I'm supposed to lug stuff over to my mom's place, but my entire body is protesting! Boxes moved out liao so it's a huge huge load off my chest but I still have to lug essential stuff over and clean up. Got till Friday!

ah well ... it's a kind of trade-off I guess ....
you don't get much smiles in Singapore ... but you get quicker, more efficient service .....
you get more personal and friendly treatment, but the pace sometimes gets you tearing at your hair eh .... -
