it's cost around C$2.50-2.80 in van .... by the time you move inland to Edmonton, it's jumped to C$4.00 .....
but in van you can get the real stuff too .... courtesy of Malaysian and Singaporean resturants .... or so I was told ....
haven't found one yet ... but I did find authentic hawker center Mee Pok here, being sold by an ah peh formerly from bedok somemore ...
and it's 12.46 am and around -8 outside ... -

Many moons ago when Hubby and I visited Vancouver, I was in heaven man! My ex-classmate came over for a visit and we drove up from Seattle. She knew the lady who used to sell food at NP, who had opened a restaurant in White Rock. Auntie Iris' restaurant in Surrey wasn't a success. She's now a security guard. Go figure. I was there 15 years ago and was raving about it then. I'm sure it's changed and improved alot so can't wait to hear your stories. You'll definitely eat yourself silly! Wish I could too. -

yeah .... people are still fishing and trapping crabs there ...... the water's pretty clear ... and you can see the stupid crabs crawling into the traps ..... -

yeah ... lots of kids from seattle come over to white rock to party, cos the drinking age's lower in Canada eh ....
