We had told the developer's lender at our first sit-down that we wanted to use downpayment assistance. She said she would research and we left it at that. Now, come to learn, the developer doesn't participate in bond programmes, which is what the downpayment assistance is. I called the on-site sales people to let them know that we are willing to back out of this deal and want our good faith cash back if they won't let us use the programme. I mean come on, why do they care where the cash is coming from as long as they get it right? The saga continues....

me ah? very tiring weekend. we had company over on saturday. followed by karaoke. so late night on saturday and then spent the most part of sunday cleaning the house. but it felt good. i like cleaning MY house and feeling good to see a spanking clean house. to let you in how ngeow i am, i use cotton bud or sometimes toothpicks to clean corners of the toilet seat.

You would think since we were talking the on-site lender. One thing after another. That thing with using only their design house for the flooring and what not or we'd void warranties. Bloody BS. And then no TV jack in the formal living area. I asked about a self install voiding warranties, they said it's okay and we wouldn't be voiding anything. not shady lah.........they are big and has been around for a long time liao. pretty popular. ING Direct. Never heard of? They have an office in Sg also. My best friend is in there. But she said very stressful. But because it is a foreign bank, the bank is pretty generous. Dian dian jiak one.
