Short Getaway over the weekends

shinta, how about going to Bali (Sanur) for a nice short vacation? A couple of my family members & I went just b4 Christmas last yr. Stayed at the Sanur Mercure (my sis in law booked over the Internet, so cheaper rates). Wake up with a beach massage every morning for US$5
So shiok!
the place isn't very popular (as in touristy), yet there are quite a no. of things to do, like shops/stalls just 10 mins walk from the hotel & also cafes/restaurants. Nice, peaceful, refreshing way to spend a short holiday. -

My fav nearby place...
Cold Cold... got nice foresty walks.. got nice tea plantations.. gt nice night market... got strawberries... can walk long long.... hmm nice foodddd steamboat, pasar malam food, and loads of beeeaautiful flowers everywhereeeeeeeeeeeee~ -
For me I love Bangkok!
Actually right now I feel like going to kaypoh at the rallies they have there -

Both SO and me love shopping in Bangkok. We never seem to get sick of the place though we go there every year

well actually this time i go to bangkok
i realise the stuff there are almost the same as what i saw 3 yrs ago
probably becoz me big big size..buy clothes a bit hard..so end up buying those accessories..
but nonetheless, the food there is awesome..and freaking cheap! -
hmmm....short....Genting, KL, Cameroon, Malacca, Bangkok, Bintan, Batam, Cruise,Phuket, Krabi. Desaru, Tioman etc.
If no flight involved, should be around less or ard S$300 per pax. If flying shd be ard $500-$700 -
$200+ can go bangkok liao
look out for those promotions for those budget airlines
our trip to bangkok last month..5 days 4 night
cost us 200+ abit -
if really dont want to go far, i suggest Malaysia
boy, i think when i start working, gonna make it a habit to go into the jungles and smell the fresh air
i was reminded of it when i was in my cousin's house
the back of his house faces the hill, and boy, the fresh air is so alluring..and so seducing

shinta, I believe you too... because I kinda like the Theme Park there too! In fact, I've been to Genting 4-5 times liao but never get tired of the place! I love the cold weather there!

Sigh... it's terrible - I've got all the time in the world right now, but gotta conserve the $$.
