i believe that some dont care and change jobs so quickly, that to them they will never see the consequences. And if they ever get pulled up on any previous lies from previous jobs its hard to substantiate whether it was a lie or correct at the time. These guys remember are very good bullsh ittersOriginally posted by the Bear:what i don't understand is that it'll eventually come back and bite them.. do the bosses think that the kar-kia will take the bullet for them?
Nothing illegal. Things like saying the boss is not in etc that is fine to me, plus there is something very wrong with the company if you need to lie to cover up big things!Originally posted by the Bear:been talking to people.. seems that there are many bosses/employers/companies which tell their staff to lie to their clients...
not the little lies like "i'm not in the office now" or "he'll be back in a while"
but the big ones which causes the client to think or behave in another way... like sending the junior guy there and saying that he's the senior consultant, or that your company has a network of contacts when it doesn't?
seems like a lot of people would do it...
i won't... and i've put that straight to some bosses in the past before...
so, they are thinking of whistleblower laws now..
what do you think will happen when such laws that protect the whistleblower come into being?
and in the meantime, if you were in that position, told by the company to lie, what would you do?
you are still in school?Originally posted by browniebaobao:hmm...
im not gd at lying, and i will nv want to lie.
rather starve than to do something against my conscience and principles.
