  My wish is for the MRT to operate 24 hours, or close to. Everytime I arrive and depart Sg, it's in the wee hours of the morning. No MRT running so have to spend on cabs. I would take the MRT to the airport in a heartbeat, over taking a cab.

  Speaking of corrupt, San Diego has sooo many corrupt people in public office, it's so shocking. One just went to jail for accepting bribes. The county auctioned everything off last week. He accepted bribes from defense contractors, big time. The worst case involving someone so high up the food chain.

  Awesome! My hubby earns two days of leave every month. He has to clear it before each October. As they say in the military, use it or lose it. Speaking of which, they have so many slang terms, some are quite funny.

  at my workplace, we used to have so much trouble clearing due to lack of manpower, and it is SAF policy to clear day offs ASAP, i think the max you can keep it is for 2 weeks. my day offs have been accumulated since 2004.
  
  slang terms... for us it would be kou tou chan. a "hot" term/word to use for a period of time.
  
  i saw this in the urinal at Tengah
