No, pain is not the justified reason. There are usually many more reasons.
Anyway, if I have a choice, I would rather go through NS.
Why? NS only 2.5yrs than after that is reservist now and then. Looking after a baby till he/she can look after himself is at least 20 yrs in a stretch! Ok la, maybe you say teenager not counted liao but also at least 12 yrs, and definately more siong than reservist. -
