The Club 30 Cult Leader and a few peeps headed down for a feast at Kuishin-Bo on 16 March and here are a few photos!

Prior to the feast, av98m and Bear issued a challenge to each other - to see who can eat the most!
Anyways, it didn't take Bear long before he headed to the Crabs Counter to pick up his favourite crabs.
Look at the Roe inside!!
And, the Crab-Eating Competition begins!

Pinky Bear decided to heap her pile of crabs somewhat artistically...
A few of Cult Leader's favourite food in the buffet spread!
In that bowl, is Tempura Soft Shell Crab and Tempura Prawn on top of Agedashi Tofu! Yuuuummy!!!! 
And then, there's the awesome, rich broth of ... Kaminabe!! (And nope, I wasn't swearing in Hokkien! )

Too bad I couldn't take a shot of the Crabs Counter because a waitress stopped me from taking the photo when I tried.

Somebeardy's dessert plate... guess whose?
And oh, that brownish thang on sticks... that's marshmallows dipped... nope, more like drowned, in chocolate sauce!
There are, of course, healthier dessert platters!

And after dinner, we took a walk down to the Esplanade to enjoy the concert at the open-air stage. We also enjoyed the lovely breeze by the Singapore River, a fitting end to a lovely dinner!

Well, we all had a great time. I think Ferret was the first to tap out and spent a lot of time watching us eat.

Beef Carpaccio is basically paper thin slices of raw beef 'cooked' in lemon juice .Originally posted by hisoka:whats a beef cappacio??

Recipe here
1 Pound Beef Sirloin, Bright Red
2 Cups Fresh, washed And Dried Arugula Leaves
A Wedge Of Parmesan Cheese
1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt And Cracked Black Pepper
Lemon Wedges
If slicing yourself, use an electric carving knife and cut the beef into paper thin slices. Arrange the arugula leaves on individual plates, and lay the beef on top. Drizzle with the olive oil, and season with the salt and pepper. Shave some of the parmesan cheese over the dish, and serve with a lemon wedge.
Sauce Variation: If desired, simply arrange the carpaccio slices without the above ingredients, and drizzle with the following sauce.
1 Egg Yolk
1 Cup Of Olive Oil
Jiuce Of 1 Lemon
Salt & Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Of Dry Mustard Dissolved In 1 Teaspoon Warm Water
Dash Of Hot Pepper Sauce
Place the egg yolk in a blender with half the oil. Pusle to mix. Turn the blender on, and add the oil in a slow stream. Add the lemon, mustard and seasonings. Pulse. Drizzle the sauce over the carpaccio slices and serve. -
