Guess the job market is now an Employers' Market. The golden days for employees, where we can pick and choose our jobs, and the perks are attractive, doesn't seem to exist liao!
So yeah, better to secure a job first before making that leap of tendering your resignation. Unless you have enough resources to see you through the next few months or unless you don't mind taking on some temporary assignments in the meantime.

Well, depends on your field too, I guess. If you're in a field that's in high demand, you won't have any problems.

Yah, better secure another job before resigning. I know this guy that resigned thinking he'd get another job in a couple of months. He ended up being out of work for over a year!!!

Ya, biopolis still cannot find enough PhDs and postdocs....recruiting all over the place but still mostly foreigners.. -
depend on wat kinda job u looking for n wat skill u have lor..generally mkt is pretty good compared to few yrs ago
