just 6 pics were taken before i stopped to eat.. and after we started, i kinda "forgot" to take more pics of other dishes
gotta start with the obligatory barbequed chicken wings and see-hum.. the chicken wings were from the neighbouring stall.. so they were ready-made and arrived first... see-hum, easy.. pour boiling water, stir a bit, drain and serve.. but tonight, i think they forgot to stir a bit and they were beautifully raw-ish, went through a couple of plates of the see-hum
then came the chillied Tua-tau... before the night was over, we went through a few plates of this stuff
of course, we had to have something... uhh... healthy!! that's right!! healthy!! so to ease our consciences a little, we had.. vegetables!
then came what was proclaimed by someone, "the mother of all omelettes", the oyster omelette! it's special coz the stallowner orders it for us from another stall... so there is a heck of a lot more oysters in it and more care goes into cooking the stuff... of course, a few plates before we were through
then came the grilled giant garlic prawns... they were about 1/3 of the size of last week's stuff unfortunately... but you still needed both hands to grab one of them... perfectly done, fresh as heck, crunchy texture, garlic was actually sweet to the taste, wonderful stuff
and we started to dig in first...
after that, i stopped taking pics.. there were things like mutabak, kambing soup, and other stuff which i kept eating
not the best ever tonight, but still very very good... see how it is next week when us guys do it again
