the bald fella did damned well with a slow version of Wonderful World... even Simon liked it... frankly, this song, requires someone who does songs some other way in order to make it work.. especially those whose songs are not the soft ballad-types... the contrast is almost required in order that the impact is felt..
just like a rock or a bebop musician, slows down, looks at the world, and is moved to sing this song...
frankly, a crooner or a sappy and irritating singer like say, Pri.. uhh.. Rick Price would have turned it into unadulterated crap... -

Like I thought chai tau kuey is S'pore's local flare hor? Then, sekali, the Teochew or some HKG restaurants also got chai tau kuey leh. Then, the Taiwanese supermarket also have. Closer to S'pore's style. Put black sauce one. The HKG ones like red red colour and got shrimps and chicken one. We always request "skip the chicken".
