List the 'weird' things you collect

  I think everyone might have stuff they collect which others consider weird.
  
  What do you have that you think fits into this category?
  
  I think for me, it has to be stones and pebbles. I love bringing back stones and pebbles from various places I visit be it the beach or mountains
  
  Had a huge collection till my parents forced me to abandon it due to us shifting house when I was much younger. Only took my fav stones and pebbles with me

  I have this "weird" habit too .... but I think this is pretty common actually ....
  
  I don't collect all the pebbles and stones for keeps though .... each one is a promise to myself that I'll go back to the place one day and and bring it "home" ... ... a diving buddy of mine likes to collect sand from the seabed at each dive site ... he'll take a little jar with him and look for a clear patch of sand .....
  
  I collect fishing flies too .... used to tie lots of them on my own table vice and exchange them with other afficionados ....

  Well, different areas have different broken off strata I guess. The stones from different areas are really distinctive that you can tell

  yeah i used to keep stones too.. free ma.. until I realise it is unenvironmentally friendly to do so.
  
  Now ah.. sigh cos of my work I collect every little things - good for kids to do Art ma.. currently I have... empty cans/bottles/eggshells/old magazines/shoelaces/straws...
  
  And if anyone have lots of old buttons and want to discard them.. i will be most happy to help relieve you of them

  matchboxes from restaurants, pubs, hotels.....
  coasters
  cigg boxes
  serviettes from restaurants, hospital even...

  used to collect bus tickets.. when bus tickets via the farecard was still being issued... last count was abt 3000+.. still have them..

  I guess I collect more or less run-of-the-mill stuff, nothing that's truly 'weird'.

  Used to collect angsana fruits, dried up ones and birds feathers wherever I go. My parents found it out and threw them away. No more birds feathers but angsana fruits only. But they are harder to find nowadays.
  
  Now collect teddy bears instead. My friends keep sending them for my birthdays because I like them.
