What are the pets you would like to keep

Assuming that there are no restrictions by AVA. Please do not list unrealistic pets like dolphins, elephants etc. It has to be something manageble in a HDB flat
I would like to have a green iguana and a pacman frog
Would like an Aligator Snapping Turtle too but I need a huge pond for that

I'm now pretty addicted to Animal Planet and cannot start my day without watching the 10am Animal Precinct / The Protectors on Mon-Fri!
Someday, I'll volunteer at some animal shelter or zoo!

elindra, after we went to that aquarium shop near my place, I've been thinking, how nice if I could get one of those lovely tanks and keep a yabbie or two!

pacman frogs are cool.. you can feed them anything!
i knew someone who used to keep snakes and a couple of pacman frogs...
well, one of the mice he fed the snake ran away.. and was recovered by his long-suffering mother.... she figured, hey.. put inside with the frog.. nothing will happen...
she put the mouse inside, the frog hopped over and ate the mouse...
there was much screaming -

sea turtles are mostly good-natured..
fresh-water turtles are ALL bad-tempered.. and this is the worst of the whole lot!

They pretend to be a stone and stay at the bottom of the river or whatever and keep their mouth open and wiggle their tongue so that fishes will think it is a worm and try to eat the tongue and their jaws snap shut! -

The Alligator Snapping Turtle is the largest freshwater turtle in the world. These turtles can measure from 15 inches to over 30 inches in length. Their weight upon maturity can range from 35 to over 200 pounds. Males are typically larger than females. The tail on this turtle can be as long as its shell. The large shell is rough and three-keeled, meaning it has 3 pronounced ridges running from front to back. It has a large head with a hooked "beak" and very powerful jaws. The eyes are on the sides of their heads unlike the Common Snapping Turtle whose eyes are situated on the top of their heads. the snapping turtle will eat anything... it'll also eat carrion and fingers and toes of unfortunate people who go and poke the thing
