I think pacman frogs look dumb and cute but is a monster when it comes to food.
Erhmm Pacman frogs are dumb alright and they are poor swimmers can can drown if you have too much water in their tankOriginally posted by the Bear:around here? hmmm.. there are squirrels in the park tho'
and yeah.. that's the thing about the frogs.. they look so cute and dumb.. actually, they are dumb... in the wild, a lot die when they try to eat each other, one suffocating, and the other choking to death

Why not keep a African Clawed Frog. Totally aquatic
Feeds on bloodworms and can catch it's own fish to eat

lots of fun stuff like rays and even sharks...Originally posted by Rhonda:elindra, after we went to that aquarium shop near my place, I've been thinking, how nice if I could get one of those lovely tanks and keep a yabbie or two!
Too bad, I'm leaving soon so I'll see what I can keep over there!
yup they do thatOriginally posted by the Bear:saw this frog at work in a documentary before...
frogs which ambush fast-moving things are hilarious in slow motion!
they charge forward with mouths wide open and one of the front legs will shove their prey into their mouths
Rays?Originally posted by breytonhartge:lots of fun stuff like rays and even sharks...
I think if elindra's turtle ever gets to be THAT big, she intends to keep it in her bedroom, and then just throw her pillow and blanket on it and sleep on its shell.Originally posted by alwaysdisturbed:wah...u indeed need a huge pond...

I wanna keep a stingray too... but maybe a marine one, either a blue-spotted ray or a guitarfish (the nice, hardy FW motoros are too ex). But very unfortunately, i had to tear down 2 of my tanks yesterday following incessant nagging at home that i was turning the house into a fish shop with fish tanks everywhere. That's the problem when none of your family members are interested in keeping fishes and hence they only see the drawbacks of fish-keeping (the perpetual rusting of metallic objects around saltwater tanks, noise from the filters etc).Originally posted by elindra:Rays?
I have those as pets
But you might want to think twice coz they are alot of work

yay! Panthera tigris for the win =DOriginally posted by browniebaobao:i would like to keep a white tiger cub.
Prices of Motoros are dropping I think coz alot of local keepers are breeding them, and successfully too.Originally posted by cornyfish2000:I wanna keep a stingray too... but maybe a marine one, either a blue-spotted ray or a guitarfish (the nice, hardy FW motoros are too ex). Now i've only 3 tanks left, 1 for my PNT/gourami, 1 for the red-tail catfish/gar, and 1 marine tank which is overstocked now that i threw all the marine creatures from the previous marine tanks into this.
Anyway, back to the topic of the thread, i'd like to keep a baby marine turtle... they look so cute! But i wouldn't know what to do with it when it becomes a gigantic adult... release it into Pasir Ris Beach maybe?
A baby sea turtle
Reminds me of my PNT when it was tiny.
