Dunno. I think it's just the hair, good decision to quit the tai-tai helmet coif. She's always been well-maintained.

Look at the popular Korean actresses (and even the actors)... it's common news that plastic surgery is rampant over in Korea. No one would bat an eyelid there if someone they know opts for plastic surgery cause hell, maybe they themselves have gone for it too!
And here, I think plastic surgery is very common with the tai-tai set. I think the Sunday Times more or less declared that when they had that feature on the Singapore socialites.
OK, back to topic... didn't seem as if Alison opted for plastic surgery though... and choco's right, looks like it's just a hairstyle change. -
