Materials engineering degree from overseas or Business Marketing degree from Singapore holds a better job prospect here and why?

in mktg, u can make easy money selling lies to consumer. In engineerin, wat u sell must meet consumer needs and wants.

if you study engineering, you can always switch to business .... but it's very difficult to switch from business to engineering ..... so there ....

There's a Chinese saying : "Hang2 Hang2 Chu1 Zhuang4 Yuan2", which kinda means that in every field, outstanding people abound.
Engineering or Business, you have to find out what you have an aptitude for. Even if one has more prospects than the other, if you've got no flair for it, you won't be able to make good out of holding the qualification anyways.
Lots of people make the most of whichever field they're in and as long as you're willing to put in the hard work and strategise, you can make the most of whichever industry you eventually find yourself in one.
Passion also matters... which area are you more interested in - Engineering or Business? Without passion to fire you up, you'll just be an average worker so it wouldn't matter anyways!
