Do you read multiple books simultaneously?

i like to read multiple books too. Cos.. every book is like a journey.. and you need to be mentally prepared to feel like you WANT to go on it.
E.g. the book you read when you are eating your lunch alone at home is different from the book you read when you are on the train to go to work, and is different from the book you read when just about to go to sleep cos.. mood different ma. -

However, I feel that certain books just suck you into the whirlpool and you cannot put down the book till you finish it!
I always get sooo into books that are scientific or medical thrillers, eg. Robin Cook, Michael Palmers, John Case's or even, mystery books like Dean Koontz and Stephen King. -

actually RAM is like short term memory. (Things like boss ask you to finish a document by friday, but u forgot about it cos you have too many other things in hand. Or maybe you have 7 girlfrens, you tend to forget you promised to meet who on weekend.)
Hard disk space is like long term memory. (Things like you still remember some of the maths formula you learnt in school, thngs like your parents/close frens birthdate, the scene of your favourite movies. )
How fast you can understand things or do some task is like the speed of the CPU. -
rhonda... u dun have to read multiple books at 1 time.
all u have to do is start on raymond e feist's magician series and the rest that follows...
u'd be reading about wars in many different areas..
say there's a fight against the demons in US and another war against another pack of dark elves in Europe.. den u have a bit of small problem here in SG
all happening at the same time. -

Too preoccupied with the books in my favourite genres that I haven't had time to commit adultery by wandering over to see what other genres have to offer! -
one at a time, not suited for multi-tasking
otherwise i think i might confuse the storyline -
I don't book-hop much
But I page-hop alot . I like to skip around to other chapters , read the ending, then go back to where I was at. -
i book hop alot, because it can get boring for me sometimes, unless its like a totally interesting book, then its different. recently, i realised that i have been reading philosophy, psychology, sociology, and basically, more realistic kinds of books.. although they were never my kind. because they are one of the most boring kinds of books ever.

up to about a dozen at a go...
however, since i started to drive to work, i've not been reading much...
now, into a couple of books about the english language and phrases, one Murakami book, re-reading the following: the Naked Lunch, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, NP.. uhh..
uhh... okay okay.. i'm a promiscuous book-hopper -

man... u followed thru the whole series from their teenage years until their grandchildren's time... and then they just died.... cos of a stupid war
my colleagues asked me a few times whats up with me when they saw me gg teary eyed during lunch...
the serpeant's war is cruel. the other series/saga's funny. -

Textbooks aside, I usually start on 2-3 books at the same time. Usually, one of the books would be a Chinese one.
