well, about 4D.. my car number came out 1st prize and no one won anything... the guys at work were at it for a month and a half before they gave up.. about $2k was spent

most, if not all of the KPIs are rubbish and was forced on us because some guillable semi-moron up high believed a charlatan whom any barely-literate street-smart person would spot coming a mile away while blindfolded...
how come scholars with absolutely no cow sense get to climb so high up, is beyond me.. -

i think he took it as a personal insult where none was being thrown about.. which i think is indicative that he knows that he's just being book-smart and knows he got had.. but hubris causes him not to admit it and he takes offense at imagined things -
which is also why all these JC vs Poly debate comes about..because people are "better/smarter" because of an O level cert..

Anyway, I chose going to Poly over to JC because the teaching method in Poly suits me better. I never want to go thru all the textbooks again like what I did for 'O' levels.
I qualified for both
Anyway it didn't matter to me because my end goal was a degree and it didn't matter to me if I went to Poly or JC -

sad thing is that they were teachers..
i wanted to go to poly and they insisted i go to JC..
to my shame, i capitulated and went to JC.. because it was getting idiotic with their rants each time i brought it up.. and worse, i think they had to sign the damned thing...
now, they see my point of view but it's too late isn't it?
to me, a polytechnic is heaps better.. if you don't make it to a uni, you got a diploma and skills..
if you are in a JC, you just have this A-Levels paper and no skills whatsoever...
and if you go to a uni, you get exemptions if you went to poly.. none whatsoever if you go to JC...
so... what's more practical? -

My aim was never NTU or NUS so it doesn't matter
I have an Australian degree
I know someone who got 8 points and went to NYP to study nursing ok. -
