  And the sad thing is, a lot of children are subject to tremendous stress because their parents treat them as trophies to be shown off in front of relatives/friends/whoever. So they must get into the right schools, get the right grades, etc. And they are frequently compared to their peers.
  
  Some of these kids end up dysfunctional or kill themselves.
