Now, we don't have a reason to be if someone else were just stating their point of view - which understandably, may be entirely different from ours.
But there have been times when someone argues a point till there is a dead end, and there is nothing left that makes sense to bring up. Yet, perhaps due to human beings' competitive nature... or perhaps the innate natural need to defend oneself, they go on and on - and end up contradicting themselves, or worse - totally going out of point.
And then there are times when we cannot understand the post itself, either because it simply does not relate to the topic, or it contains literary abuse so profound that we cringe inwardly, unconsciously.
The trolls should just remain where they should be. Between the pages of a mythical storybook - and not attempt to venture into virtualspace to poke, prod, goad and create secular groups amongst the members.
I do so wish that sometimes I could just post this link in response without any ill feelings, but we do live in a civilised society (yes, so far... even in cyberspace) and it just wouldn't be right at all.
So... I'll just go by the golden rule. If I have nothing good or constructive to say, I'll just shaddap.
