Over the years I've had various collections of things that I told myself were serious collections as an excuse not to throw them away, and other things that I have no idea what happened to them.
The only true collection that I had was stamps. It was a small collection but I got it from my Grandfather and that made it special. Not special enough to know what happened to it though. My father collects stamps now and has quite a large collection. I think he keeps the USPS running with his stamp purchases.
I collected baseball cards.(i'm American) I really didn't care about the cards but they were free with that crappy dried out gum. We used to clip the cards to the forks on our bicycles with clothespins to make a cool(we thought) noise as we rode.
I collected Playboy magazines for a few years. Again not so much of a collection but at $3.00 +/- a piece I had quite a bit of money invested in them just to throw them away. I wound up throwing them away....I still miss Miss December 1974
Now days I have a good sized collection of unpaid medical bills.
