Things like the tv and pc, can't be helped, gotta leave them plugged in. Things that can be helped like the toaster oven, kettle, that sort of thing, sure.

Every time you on something, it tended to quicken for initial state. Subsequently, it will go back to normal. However if you have fridge or air-con on, the effect is still there but lesser.
