yeah.. it's one of the things that happen to people.. they get lulled into a state of complacency.. much like our own gabrament who cannot connect with the real world anymore..
the typical singaporean needs to travel a lot more, and not to the touristy places but off the beaten track.. to see how the other half of the world lives...
and also, to lose that stupid insane cynicism i wrote about in another topic..
because when we lose our heart, we lose our ability to hope.. and with that, we lose our humanity... and you see that happening right now...
i fear for us, but i see there are people out there, who are beacons of goodness... and there is hope for us
