  Well, they sure aren't showing that ad in my neighbourhood, but that's no surprise, is it?
  
  So let me get this straight. They're advertising NUS in Singapore, and from what I gather, the gist of the ads doesn't seem to have much to do with the standard of education or the career opportunities that come with holding an NUS degree.

  not flaming lazer lord or coolmyth, but i find tis advertisement really bad, esp when they mentioned nus is place for elite... n shouldnt admission of entries over already? it sound like it is a market strategy of bringing FT to our local uni.

  food for thought: the financial times ranks nus business school only 92 in the whole world. world beating? place for elites? my arse! nobody in the right frame of mind would pick nus over wharton, chicago or sloan, all of which are in the top 10 business schools list like the girl in the ad. i used to respect nus but their jumping on the business school/mba bandwagon just makes them no different from any cheapo crap school that sells mba's for money with cheesy ads like nice campuses, hot students etc...

  Finally saw the ad yesterday. It really defies all reason and logic.
  
  WTF is the person in the ad choosing NUS when she got letters from her own local institutions ranked so much higher?
  
  Or is NUS trying to show that they have foreign nutjobs on campus?
