I already have friends who get hdtv recordings from their contacts overseas and play them in their home theater systems using a PC!!! And the quality is damned good! Singapore is far far behind, partly due to Starhub's monopoly, which has made it fat lazy and complacent.

well, look at it this way... if they were to go HDTV now, probably about 95% of the tvs in singapore become unusable
