Pardon my ignorance but is this a cartoon?Originally posted by the Bear:Cowboy Bebop...
the story is amazing drama... very human drama...
just like tonight's episode, Ganymede Elegy... while delivering a bounty, Jet Black returns to his home planet, where he also goes off on personal time, to look up the girl who walked out on him one day, leaving only a note that said "Farewell" and a pocketwatch..
and in the end, he finally puts the ghosts in his past to rest, and walks from her with a smile...

Adult swim, okay. Until you started on this, I had never heard of it before. There is soooooooooo much to watch on TV here, it's a struggle just deciding what to watch. (No brag, just fact).Originally posted by the Bear:yeah it is... but children won't understand one bit about it...
and it has a soundtrack that has been voted the best anime soundtrack ever... with blues, jazz and bebop, it is an amazing listen...
some anime are kinda crappy and kiddy.. like Shaman King.. and boring as heck...
some are amazing.. like this one..
some are outright heartbreakingly sad, like Gunslinger Girl..
maybe "cartoon" doesn't do it justice.. that's why they're termed "anime"

How's your day looking?
*cringe* Poor you. I hate anything to do with dental work but I'm so glad for painless dentistry. So different from our childhood polyclinic yank-em-out days, huh? I'm happy to hear you're not in pain. Speaking of bridges. I need one but am not going to get it done.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Remember to post a few of those images for us to drool over, okay?
I'm leaving in ten minutes' time for a dental appointment. A molar that had a root canal done on it many moons ago finally fractured all the way to the root. It's not painful (the nerve is dead), just uncomfortable. The dentist is going to ascertain if there's enough of the molar remaining to form a foundation for a crown, or if I need to extract it completely and go with a bridge.
Bloody fun afternoon lined up....

You guys talk about mailing back the business envelopes junk mailers usually send with their junk mails. Well, I received a useful letter from UOB, although I do not need to send back the stuff through mail, because I personally went down to their branch to perform the transactions, I still send the mail...albeit empty one. Hee..I think i am going to do more of it..
Sigh, I am bored....
You mean fixing the envelopes to a box of n kg of stuff and send back...at their own costs?Originally posted by the Bear:if you're bored, can you find out from the post office if we can do the same thing with the business reply envelopes in singapore?
