How were you taught English?

For grammar, it's practise, practise and more practise. My primary school teachers used to buy a few grammatical assessment books and we are supposed to do a few exercises everyday.
For primary one and two, just have to pay attention in class. That's the only way one can learn.
Vocabulary wise, it would be to read a wide variety of books. Prounounciation wise, have to depend on who is teaching you English. I was lucky to have a good one, but I can't be bothered to learn, since I don't speak it at home. -

For me, i grew up watching lotsa sesame street, electric company, fraggle rock and smurfs... then came transformers, centurions and gi joe!
Heck, its better than watching wat kids watch nowadays!
