  Which reminds me once... i left a bunch of shanghainese rice cakes in my frig cos I soaked too much.. (they are like dry pieces.. need to be soaked before can be cooked) then I forgot about them...
  
  and when I finally opened them after months.. there was actually a very nice fragrant smell of rice wine!

  I have some leftover oxtail stew in my fridge....just the gravy. SO asked me to keep coz he wants to dip bread in the gravy. I cooked on Sunday and it's still in the fridge....I wanna see how long that thing stays in here

  i have a really mini fridge (about the size of a 3-tier in/out tray) which i will deploy in my room when i refurnish it...

  Considering the large pot I cooked, and only a little gravy left is kinda unexpected. I thought I cooked enough for both of us for dinner with left overs for another day but he practically cleaned out the pot in one sitting and left a little gravy which he wanted to keep.
  
  I bet this will be some form of weird out science experiment

  I really think there must be some sort of ecosystem thriving in your fridge by now. Perhaps we can get some scientists to investigate.

  Heng's freezer problem can be easily taken care of .
  Just turn the damn thing off.
  
  Leave the doors open and you get a natural waterfall in the kitchen. Water feature leh, good feng shui.

  ... packet chilli collection (y'know, KFC, LJS, etc)
  
  ... some dried shrimps but they were old when I bought them anyway
  
  Hmm we're not big on collecting food.
  
  Actually the thing I'm worried about are the microorganisms living inside the fridge..... how often are we supposed to clean the fridge again ?

  the oldest thing that i have would be this starfish and banana.. its made of plastic, and theres water inside.. its meant to be some sort of fancy ice thingy.. it s been there since i was in nursery.. so more than 12 years.. its not edible though, i stopped using it when i was in pri sch.. it just got boring.. its still in my fridge now though.. and i bet no one in my family ever uses it.. we only see it when we are changing fridges.. ROFL.. still stuck in the freezer this very day..
  
  other than that.. something edible would be just this kit kat bar that was just left at the side of the fridge door for almost a year..
