For me, it would be the current iteration of Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi Channel. Season 3 begins in October, and is reportedly [b]much darker in tone than the previous seasons. Hard to believe, as there were some episodes in Seasons 1 and 2 that were downright depressing...[/b]
But damn, does the new series rock! I have to admit that having been a die-hard fan of the original series (did I ever kick up a stink with the folks if they planned anything for a Saturday night), I thought that they had to do something pretty spectacular to justify a remake. Lo and behold, they did it. -
Ehh, sorry Ben, but I'll disagree that it even comes close to West Wing. The dialogue is too slow and nowhere near as witty, it doesn't have WW's political sophistication and it focusses too much on mainstream drama. IMHO, turning Starbuck into a woman, and Boomer into a woman AND a Cylon were brilliant moves, as were twisting the Apollo/Adama relationship and adding the blackmail aspect to Baltar's story. I don't have a die-die must watch TV show.
Maybe in my teens bah. And that will have to be the Donny & Marie Show. I remembered "skinning" the male friend who took me home too late that I missed the first part of it.
Is that die-die must watch?
p.s. I've outgrown that already though.

House was pretty good the first season. But the novelty seemed to fade off during the second season for me.
Grey's anatomy is an example of a show with very good script writing. Plus, it has fantastic charactors.
24. Every season there's like 24 thrilling episodes. And some of the episodes will leave you saying," Oh my god, what have you done?"
Lost is very unique. But after so many mysteries and questions added up from the first to second season, I've become a bit exhausted.
Commander in Chief is not bad. But it's not gripping. -
