Govt don't allow the sugar players to increase price, and they also dun wanna buy the sugar from them and sell at the subsidised price
So the companies involved will do the logical step on allocating a fixed quantity as how much they are willing to lose and sell the rest to other markets so Malaysia will have shortage lor~ -
Like this kaya and bun supplies might be affected

Aiya they have everything subsidized ma, that is why now the government want to raise prices the citizens all kpkb. I think the government there wants to revamp and make the citizens less reliant on the government but they might be making too many changes at the same time....this is especially so for the native citizens where everything is super super heavily subsidised
