just blanch em.Originally posted by skeujin:water mus b boiling hot.
if u r unsure thn cook in 2 batches.
leaves jus dip n wen they change to a slightly darker shade of green thn remove from the pot. stems tt r thick (brocolli) can b sliced thinly n cooked similarly. usually even after the viggies r removed from the water they will still b 'cooking' tts y if u overboil them. by the time your guest sit down. the veggies will b vry withered
fish goes best with dill, basil, parsley, fennel..Originally posted by MooKu:hmm how about fish with basil, or fish with terragon?
Like never use a pie crust pastry recipe as a curry puff pastry because it will fall apart in the frying process?Originally posted by MooKu:hee anything
hmm okay, noted. thanks!Originally posted by skeujin:water mus b boiling hot.

dont forget to rest em in cold water when u remove from the 1st batch.. to stop the cooking. or else there is no point of cooking in batches.Originally posted by MooKu:hmm okay, noted. thanks!
Ever tried microwaving broccoli instead? I do that now. Just place flowerets in a covered dish, with a little water, microwave for like 1 min, depending on quantity and voila, done.Originally posted by MooKu:oooooooh. Did i mention, on the day i cooked baked fish, i had broccoli as well.
I put the broccoli to cook in boiling water, then i went to tend to my fish for a while. By the time I remembered, the broccoli was so overcooked, my sis said they practically melted in her mouth
ooo. do i add water to the soup or used the condensed one straight from the can? and what kind of cheese do you put?
umm nope. i think i should buy some dill. my mom likes to buy alot of fish fillets lately then i can try with my tuna egg sandwich too!Originally posted by jetta:Have you tried sprinkling some dill in the mayo?

What I like to do with fish fillet is to cook them in the microwave. Let them sit on a bed of cucumbers skin side down, then add a couple pieces of slices lemon, tomatoes, jullienned garlic and minced garlic. Add a few dashes of salt and drizzle some sesame oil on top. Microwave covered for like 5 or 10 mins, depending on size of fillets.Originally posted by MooKu:umm nope. i think i should buy some dill. my mom likes to buy alot of fish fillets lately then i can try with my tuna egg sandwich too!
