Actually, yesterday evening got another cute encounter at Cole's Supermart... but I think I'll leave it for another day. I told my colleagues about it and one of the girls squealed at me, "Heeeey!! You're in a western country now! Be bolder!!!!"

These have now been elevated to the status of COMFORT FOOD, ok! I don't have cravings for Souvlavki cause it's all over the place here. Just like I have no cravings for sandwiches and pasta cause it's so easy to get them here. But it's not like you get Mee Pok everywhere here, and yeah, they DO make me feel really good when eating them so it's not just the food per se, but the allaying of homesickness.
That's why they're called comfort food, mah! -

I've had my fair share of 'sinful', indulgent food, don't worry. It's just that, I don't enjoy spooning spadefuls of fattening tortellini carbonara, roast beef with gravy or roast turkey with cranberry sauce etc as much as eating a nice plate of yao gai meen with chilli here. I see enough obese people around to kinda dampen my enthusiasm for the 'high-end' stuff! -

Did I tell you that I had a huge huge craving recently for... EVANESCENCE? In fact, I missed my Evanescence CD soooo much that I just HAD to hop on a tram and make a trip to town just to get that!
Best of all, the video of their live concert + CD special pack was only A$9.99! And, on top of that, their first release was also hunted down for just A$9.99 too!
I never knew I could miss a CD THAT much! -

but i'm sensitive enough to not say what pops into my mind immediately...
btw, DO NOT BUY HEWLETT-PACKARD PCs!!
get my sis to get her tech guys to help you get one value for money and running well enough so that it doesn't explode or leave you puzzled to why it's running like crap...
