Anyway, the guest has arrived and is still trying to adapt to the timezones and the weather. Luggage wheels broke on the way to the hotel.
Tomorrow...the zoo in the morning, then to Kinokuniya Bugis at 3, then viewing the fireworks at 8.
Any suggestions for places to visit until Sunday are welcome, as are tips on the cab trip and fare from Queen St to Johor on Monday.

although the brains and the turtle soup were better than the ultra spicy soto ayam which i had @ the hawker centre on the way to sentosa on tuesday!!!!!
that had me running to the ladies for like.. hmm five hrs (the breakfast at the hotel didn't help either... cold as horse crap 
)
today i had mutton soup... that was rather delicious.. also had the herbal chicken yesterday which was rather nice as well
so far i have not gotten sunburnt (thanks be to god!!!)
And The Bear should be commended for making me laugh (or want to spank his arse for the durians at the geylang serai wet market and katong door smelling incident also because of those blasted smelly fruits)
having a fun time here.. will be sad to leave on monday for malaysia... also be sad to go back to cold weather before too long as the warm weather has been a godsend for my bad left knee...
anyway the baba says hi as he is sitting beside me correcting my spelling as a good human spell checker should

Well this is my last full day in singapore... tomorrow i shall be driving off in a taxi to Johor in Malaysia... when i don't know but hopefully it shall be late morning or early afternoon
I must say it has been a fanastic experence... the people, the food
The sights... what a contrast!!! one second i was looking at shophouses in katong and HDB blocks in toa payoh.. then the next we would be in the city and looking up at huge skyscrapers... lets also not forget the geylang serai wet market.. that was a experence in and of itself!!
how for a population of around 4 million people.. you have so many cars and motorcycles!!!
I would like to thank ALL of the Sgforum members who made my 1st trip to singapore (and hopefully not my last trip i might add) all the more memorable...
KB - thanks for being my guide this week, it was much a ppreated

Heng - never forget your one cool dudette
