What are you reading this month (July 2006)

  Wow, I am fan of Haruki Murakami too, got hooked on "Dance Dance Dance" and nvr looked back since...
  
  Hard Boil is quite intense, the other one is Kafka on the Shore...quite heavy going in the beginning and towards the end, its easier...
  
  Now I am reading - Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk
  
  Will then go on to Wind Up Clock Chronicle by Murakami....

  first person narrative of an autistic child and how the family struggles to keep him in check...quite sad, but i thought the ending leaves much to be desired

  Bernard Maclaverty's The Anatomy School: nice book about a boy's life in N. Ireland..a bit of language inside though.
  
  Andy McNab's Firewall: Nice fiction story about espionage and spies in former Soviet Russia,again slightly more language in the book.

  Have you tried norwegian woods? it's pretty good. some upside down romance thingy. Haha....

  Norwegian Wood left a lump in my throat...
  
  the sadness experienced by the characters was almost unspeakable.. and like in life, some choose death, some struggle to carry on, burdened by the psychic baggage which will come when those who are close choose suicide...
  
  yet, the story tells of hope.. that as long as one dares to hope, one dares to believe, there will be a way...
  
  i'm saving another Murakami book in the pile of assorted books i've bought for last...
