Well, its a worldwide trend. Notice that the average salaries of CEOs and top management have actually been rising over the last several years while salaries for the rest of us lower down the food chain have been FALLING. The money saved from squeezing us actually goes back to their bonuses and whatnot for "cutting costs" for the organisation. How to reverse this trend? Well, its not going to happen until people other than greedy hellspawn make it to the top. *sigh*Originally posted by elindra:Well like I always say. To live the good life, be an elite in Singapore.
Middle Income group like you and me sucks. We pay for everything and see our pay become smaller every year due to inflation and before we know it, we belong to the middle-lower income group.
Also, the companies we work for keep adopting wage cutting measures like changing shifts to cut out OT but coz the shift times are so weird, you literally have no life (hubby gonna get that) I'm going to see less of him now
Anyway no matter what, just don't be poor in Singapore.

Anyway, its some competition organised by my school for the coming National Day
and the theme is 'My Home'
hmmm,i will paint Tiger Beer and chicken rice thenOriginally posted by the Bear:google is your friend...
you can still do a Jackson Pollock and say it speaks of your confusion when it comes to the "choreographed national day celebrations" which is strange because it seems like people need to be prodded to "rejoice" which cheapens the real rejoicing going on
I mean we need to have a SMILE campaign... so what else is new?Originally posted by the Bear:google is your friend...

And it isn't working either. Just look at the people around you. A smile is a very rare occurence. Sourface is standard.Originally posted by elindra:I mean we need to have a SMILE campaign... so what else is new?
Just read sbst's post above you. One reason why you get lots of Sourface on the streetsOriginally posted by av98m:And it isn't working either. Just look at the people around you. A smile is a very rare occurence. Sourface is standard.
