Also, the companies we work for keep adopting wage cutting measures like changing shifts to cut out OT but coz the shift times are so weird, you literally have no life (hubby gonna get that) I'm going to see less of him now
Anyway no matter what, just don't be poor in Singapore. -

Right now, his new shift is so confusing I have no idea till they enforce it. This is to cut down on OT pay but the hours are really weird -
Well, its a worldwide trend. Notice that the average salaries of CEOs and top management have actually been rising over the last several years while salaries for the rest of us lower down the food chain have been FALLING. The money saved from squeezing us actually goes back to their bonuses and whatnot for "cutting costs" for the organisation. How to reverse this trend? self-perpetuating thing actually.. based on an economics model that is totally and utterly flawed..
thing is, no one has the cojones to say "hey! it's wrong!" and then go prove that it is wrong...
anyone who does will be hammered by a bunch of people with "Professor" in front of their names who will profess to anything as long as their rice bowl isn't smashed to smithereens...
i do hope someone with the brains to come up with a correct model also has the courage to tell everyone that they are wrong...
however, that person will come up against the superjuggernauts that are the bigass multinationals and zaibatsus of the world..

Yet again they have mentioned of removing the buses when the Circe Line comes up
I think they themselves unknowingly adds finanical burden to every Singaporean
Typical example: From Ang Mo Kio to say Airport Rd (Tai Seng) area
Currently there's Sv 22/ 24 to get there, the fare is $1.05, takes abt 40 mins to get there
If let's say they remove it, ask you to take the MRT. So it would take me now 5 more mins to walk to MRT station, 3 mins along North South Line, 5 mins of walking transfer time, and another 15 mins at the Circle Line excluding the time waiting for the train
May I know how much faster is the train??? I even suspect the fares for the CCL would be even higher -

i think i'm in the wrong racket...
i keep getting these emails from our academy telling us about these courses..
they are totally BS like "how to mismanage with Six Sigma" or "how to kiss ass with the Tony Carnegie drivel"
all are about $1,200 per person for a 2 day course!
imagine if i was a con-man-sultant ripping off gullible senior management pointy-haired boss wannabes, i'd make about (after giving the place its cut) $20k per class of 60 braindeaths...
and if i keep doing this like 3 times a month, i'd be rolling in the dosh...
