a dell is not worth that much.. i won't go over 2.3k sgd for a dell..
with that amount, u can probaly do a DIY with the top end specs for probaly half the price. -
what piangs....6k can build one kick- @ss computer if u dun one a portable unit! if you want a portable unit (like lappie) 6k more choices out there...this one shown not that portabble leh

Is Dell really THAT bad? I had a dell PC that served me very well when I was there - fast to setup with no problems whatsoever! -

don't worry for cult leader...
my sister over there, with the full force of her company's tech section, will help hammer out a good deal for the cult leader when she needs a PC...
and they'll use force if necessary to get her away from the evil that is Dell
i think when my sister talked to them about someone she knows going to get a Dell, there was pandemonium and almost a riot (even without knowing who it was) in their urgency to stop that person
so rest assured
btw, i think they got a sweet deal for my sister.. a nice notebook with an AMD chip, good specs, and a DVD-RW drive.. for i think under A$2k.. by Asus, no less..
i would think that the cult leader will be in good hands -

i think my sis will help the cult leader find some lobang to get a PC or notebook so she's in safe hands

look at the thing in the first post, and compare that to a 20-inch 2GB iMac for cheaper..
or a MacBook Pro which runs even faster than the iMac...

The quality will...well... you should know. -
about PCs..
you can have the greatest specs for the hardware around..
but the software remains the crap xp, which is still being patched 5 bloody years after release... i'd say forget about it...
go with apple...
