Boy or Girl?

Starting this topic because I'm bored
Just wondering if you guys have a preference for either gender if you have a child. Just be honest here
Personally, I would prefer a girl because I can dress her up like a doll and I think that girls tend to be closer to the parents whereas sons tend to pay more attention to his wife and family once he gets married
SO prefers a boy not because of the olden idea of 'carrying on the family name' but because he says he will be less worried and he doesn't think that he can handle the idea of a guy touching his little girl when he grows up -
I heard that guys are closer to the mum..hence mummy's boy
Girls tend to be more independent I guess..nowadays..the in thing is to have girls

I think so coz alot of my married friends want girls for some reason even the guys -

if 2 then one boy one ger
but this kinda thing cannot control one lah....
and i will not try to find out the gender of the child during pregnancy
i oni want to know when it pops out -
i thought nowadays can control liao ....... but Spore make it not legal ......

I prefer girls and do not want boys. Not in Singapore anyway, because I do not want my children to serve national service.

On my SO's side, he don't give a rat's a$$ about his relatives and he never meets them anyway (not even for X'mas cos he doesn't like any of them) and his parents don't care as long as it is a grandchild I know his mum wants one really badly but she never ask me but put pressure on my SO as for my parents they don't bother me at all -

On X'mas ever since we got married, we go to his place real early in the morning to avoid his relatives. I always tell him that you only see them once a year and meeting them won't kill you but he says he doesn't want his X'mas ruined. So up till today I don't know how his relatives look like.
Oh wait I met them at our wedding. He was forced to invite them but I can't remember any -

Seriously, I have no bloody clue what my relatives look like either. Well, except 2 of my uncles and one of my aunties. That's it! I cannot remember the face of a single cousin or whatever. -

It is. But since the baby comes out of the woman she ends up being the scapegoat. Entire generations of women have been terrorised by mothers-in-law because of this.
