A boy so that I can know a child version of my husbandOriginally posted by elindra:Starting this topic because I'm bored
Just wondering if you guys have a preference for either gender if you have a child. Just be honest here
Personally, I would prefer a girl because I can dress her up like a doll and I think that girls tend to be closer to the parents whereas sons tend to pay more attention to his wife and family once he gets married
SO prefers a boy not because of the olden idea of 'carrying on the family name' but because he says he will be less worried and he doesn't think that he can handle the idea of a guy touching his little girl when he grows up
The exact reasons my cousin gave meOriginally posted by Ah Cek:prefer daughter.
1. when she paktor her bf will bring home supper for the old folks.
2. no need to serve NS i.e. financially independent 2 years earlier than boys.
3. graduate from U and start working earlier than boys.
4. more filial piety. will give parents allowances willingly.
5. if taught correctly, more obedient than boys.

Why do you say a guy's sperm is low quality if it produces femalesOriginally posted by iveco:And the male with low-quality sperm gets off scott-free.
How nice if society were female-controlled. Payback time for the boys.
Which is why I say being born Asian is more of a curse than anything else.Originally posted by av98m:Why do you say a guy's sperm is low quality if it produces females
What's wrong with having daughters?
We really need to get out of this ridiculous stone age Chinese thinking.

If you are blonde by birth, you are almost like an empress.
