But seriously, the song really embodies the australian beliefs - freedom, outback, nature and the carefree life.
So if i get to choose the aussie anthem, it will be:
1. Waltzing Matilda
2. I Still Call Australia Home
3. Advance Australia Fair
Well, positive side are the beliefs -freedom, outback, nature and carefree life.
Negative side would be tramps/vagabonds, squatters and thieves

I hovered around the stack, not quite sure if it'll coordinate and 'go' with my decor but I'm darn glad I decided to get it! 
And oh... I'm eyeing a floor lamp from Ikea with an uplight and an adjustable reading lamp, plus a lampskin rug (also from Ikea) for my living room!
And, there's this really reeeeeeely snazzy rectangular table lamp with fine black threads cascading from it with a really good peek-a-boo effect from this furniture and lifestyle place... whatchamacallit, suddenly forgot!
... that I'm absolutely in lust with for my bedroom! BUT, it's a freakin' A$99!! 
Too bad the BIR (Built-In-Wardrobe) in my bedroom's in boring white... wish it was in black or some darkwood cause it'll then go perfectly with my comforter and overall theme for the bedroom! -

The flip side is, the variety isn't as great here and we DO get more 'latest' stuff sooner. As for fashion here, goodness gracious... I almost choked on my snacks when I saw what they proudly paraded on TV as the 'latest Spring fashion'!

But oh well, I can't complain... cause I got this couch from my colleague, who sold it to me for A$50 nia! She and her hubby even transported it to my place in a li'l wagon that they attached behind their car and assembled it for me too! So, can't complain!
It came in a really awful and yucky and mucky dark moss green cover with some yucky design on it, and I scouted around for a decent-looking quilt cover to makeover ze couch! It's a sofa bed, btw! And recently, I got a body pillow with some microfibre + satin cover from K-mart (only A$29.95 nia!) to place in the hollow so it's much more ergonometric now!

One thing me and my pals have learnt here - whilst studying here might be fun, working here presents its challenges, namely a four-letter word starting with 'b' and ending with 's'. But oh well, we try hard to ignore what we can't change and make the best out of things. It helps that I have a group of pals here who have gone through and are going through the issues I'm facing and I receive lots of encouragement, prayers, and advice. I'm fortunate in that sense! -

To add to the positives - great sales, not so fashion-conscious (not under great pressure to like change your wardrobe often), jeans are IN throughout the year (yippeeeee!!) and, sporting lifestyle! Because of the )*(!@)*(#&*#@$ amount of walking I've had to do everywhere I wanna go, my jeans, that felt like bak chang when I wore them here, are now loose everywhere liao! -
