Nope... no toys.Originally posted by the Bear:does it have toys inside?
if not, i think i'll stick to freddo frogs... or choc coated licorice... or pineapple chunks... or killer boas...
Like Bear I want one with a toy inside if not forget itOriginally posted by Rhonda:Has this cute "Happy Hippo" reached Singapore shores yet?
It's much too sweet for my liking though. Ate just one and that was enough!

Hey, what's not to like? I'd love to rub their legs (and other areas) myself.Originally posted by the Bear:watch out... deathdude's hobby is "watching lady tennis players" and he particularly likes it when the physio comes out to "rub the lady player's legs during injury time-outs"
Hmmm...Nice Palm there. Silky smooth.Originally posted by Rhonda:Has this cute "Happy Hippo" reached Singapore shores yet?

and here am i complain that booze and crap like that was expensive when i came to visit bear and kb in singapore in the middle of august ..Originally posted by Rhonda:The newspapers here are expensive compared to back home! When I first arrived, I was shocked to find that the Saturday papers (The Age) cost A$2.20!!
Eh... you need to get prescription glasses or if you're already wearing them, bad news - you might need to have them changed!Originally posted by Deportivo:Hmmm...Nice Palm there. Silky smooth.
Dear Simsy... I was just merely making an observation re. the price of newspapers and not kpkb'ing about it. Price aside, I purchase all three local papers every weekend because I love to read them and all the supplements that come with them. And when I'm quite 'eng' and in the mood, I'll even get a copy of the Saturday's 'The Age' as well because it comes with supplements too.Originally posted by SubaruGirl:and here am i complain that booze and crap like that was expensive when i came to visit bear and kb in singapore in the middle of august ..
darling rhonda... its expensive yes, but i ask you this why is spirits in bottles expensive in singapore ?!?! (i mean $108 dollars come on)
Simsy
well the price of newspapers here and in singapore are about the same... what i was getting at it was all realtive as to what can be termed "expensive" and whats not expensive I was also pondering how i was dying for a bottle of wiskey and a 1.25lt bottle of coke lite (aka diet coke for all us aussies) and scull the whole thingOriginally posted by Rhonda:Dear Simsy... Of course, some stuff will be better and cheaper here, others will be better and cheaper back in SG. You can't win all the time and that's a but-of-course and an absolute given.

So true, so true! However, I find that--at least here in the US--everyday essentials like food and clothing are less expensive than in Singapore, with a far larger selection from which to choose. I assume it is that way too in Australia.Originally posted by Rhonda:Of course, some stuff will be better and cheaper here, others will be better and cheaper back in SG. Hmm... the supplements don't include coupons but then again, you don't really need coupons for the discounts here! Cole's, Safeway and Woolworth's (Woolies!) offer weekly specials that make a good deal sometimes! And then, there are the K-Marts and Target stores!Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Yo, Rhonda!
Do the supplements include discount coupons? If so, the weekend papers should more than pay for themselves in the amount of money you save from using those coupons. In fact, that's the only reason I buy the Sunday papers.

I miss my days in US when I can get a bottle of liquid foundation at $6, now come back it is around RM 100 per bottleOriginally posted by Meia Gisborn:So true, so true!
