Witnesses said the couple was arguing at the bus-stop and pushing each other already.
Not sure what they were doing but when the train was approaching, apparently the guy pushed the girl onto the tracks but she mananged to scramble across the tracks to the far corner of the tracks and avoided the train.
And it seems that other commuters gave chase of her ex-bf and pinned him down before the police arrived.
He will be charged with attempted murder. If found guilty the penalty is life imprisonment and maybe the rotan too. The newspaper also said that the guy has 2 degrees -

2 no dist travelled details
72 rts fares cheaper than SBS by 5c to 35c (All converted to SGD)

or maybe.. lexy was tripped and HELD DOWN as he tried to scramble up to avoid the oncoming train...
the train instead of braking, accelerated past the station, turning lexy into a smear..
in a tragic turn, since there was no body found, no one was award the medal -
as aforementioned, the talking bus takes vacations not for the vacations but to go to other countries to take the buses there..
