for ur own sake, pls dun be too honest.
I once had a situation kind of similar to yours (boss was a slave-driver, basically). The friendly COO did the exit interview, and all I'd said was i want a change of environment.Originally posted by Honeybunz:Some companies practise exit interviews.
If you resign solely because your immediate superior is being difficult to you and your staff all the while, will you tell the truth at the exit interview, conducted by some senior management ppl?
It may mean the GD suspects there is more to the resignation than meets the eye (like in my previous case where the COO did the exit interview)? Or has there been a spate of resignations in your dept?Originally posted by Honeybunz:I just rec'd news that my colleague's (who is leaving) exit interview will be done by the Group Director (similar rank to a General Manager). Normally, in my company, this is done by her kah kia the HR Executive one.
This time the Group Director wants to do it. What does it mean?

The big 'W' word?Originally posted by Parka:2. The fact that the company is having an exit interview means that the company wants to be better in their HR aspect. If you think that they won't act on your words, then think about why the hell are they having an exit interview in the first place.
What's that?Originally posted by Kuali Baba:The big 'W' word?
Ya, esp for those People developer thingy...Originally posted by av98m:wayang?
Actually if its already at the exit interview stage then I think its a bit too late for the company to retain u. Normally if companies want to retain you, they'll say something once they get your resignation letter and not wait until the day u want to leave then ask you to stay!!Originally posted by BufPuf:be more diplomatic, especially if still harbouring a bit of hope for the company to retain you by offering u a higher pay.
