ahh.. Hulk Hogan only became big in Japan by mistake..
he was supposed to be beaten by some legendary guy there.. but a flubbed move knocked out the Japanese guy.. so he had to cover the Japanese guy and won the match... and thus, he became a "bigtime" wrestler there
btw, Paul Wight, aka The Giant aka The Big Show wasn't so fat in the past.. when he was 375lbs in Japan, he scared the crap out of everyone when he did a moonsault off the cornerOriginally posted by av98m:Yes they are.
Hulk Hogan actually spent some time in Japan, and he wrestled a completely different style there! i.e. using a large variety of submission moves, mat wrestling moves etc!!
His WWF wrestling style was so bland. I didn't think he even knew how to wrestle until I saw his japanese tapes! -

BTW, the Japanese have a fantastic women's division too. But by law they are forced to retire when they reach 25. -
was watching some of the shows.. that lady who just "retired as champion" wasn't a wrestler.. she was hired as eyecandy..
but as time went by, she trained to be a wrestler.. and she ended up being a pretty okay one
back to the tv.. some of the desert critters are so cute.. would be wonderful to have as pets...
the desert gecko has such huge eyes!
i'd like to have a scorpion in a tank.. they're cool as heck -

Yes, Trish started out as a fitness model. I was suprised she took wrestling so seriously. Good for her! She's retiring to get married.

some of the maniacs who were with ECW were also amazing.. like Masato Tanaka, Jushin Liger... Kenji Muto is my all time favourite. The man moves like a wound up spring! I was so amazed when I saw him wrestle for the first time! e.g. his powerspring elbow! The man is a living legend. local mtv actually had done a sort of fight show before. cuz we were asked to be the cellafares as one of their directors knew our instructors. no one knew what happened to it later. the fighting chereography was horrible. i think even worse den wrestling.

they called me back in the afternoon asking me to go back for a second interview on monday ....
and then the lady asked .... "do you have any current job offers or interviews from other companies on your plate right now ? " .....
I was like, why ? ....
and she went: "oh, we're very interested in you, and would appreciate it if you would notify us if you have any other offers" ....
