Hulk Hogan actually spent some time in Japan, and he wrestled a completely different style there! i.e. using a large variety of submission moves, mat wrestling moves etc!!
His WWF wrestling style was so bland. I didn't think he even knew how to wrestle until I saw his japanese tapes!
Melina's actually a trained wrestler! So she can kick most of those divas' butts!Originally posted by choco B:Hahahah ok. There are so many divas now I get confused
They should get the Hulk's daughter in to be a diva!
I remember some of their wrestlers, long before jesse ventura, crossed over to a career in politics. Antonio Inoki is one of them.Originally posted by the Bear:ahh.. Hulk Hogan only became big in Japan by mistake..
he was supposed to be beaten by some legendary guy there.. but a flubbed move knocked out the Japanese guy.. so he had to cover the Japanese guy and won the match... and thus, he became a "bigtime" wrestler there
btw, Paul Wight, aka The Giant aka The Big Show wasn't so fat in the past.. when he was 375lbs in Japan, he scared the crap out of everyone when he did a moonsault off the corner

that multimedia section will have to close down if that happens.Originally posted by choco B:MTV does some good programs
One of the local polys here should do a stop motion animation of Celebrity Deathmatch, Sg edition
It'd be funny to see LKY and GCT slugging it out LOL

BTW, the Japanese have a fantastic women's division too. But by law they are forced to retire when they reach 25.

Kenji Muto is my all time favourite. The man moves like a wound up spring! I was so amazed when I saw him wrestle for the first time! e.g. his powerspring elbow! The man is a living legend. Never quite found out how he could spit green mist one moment and then blue mist the other!Originally posted by the Bear:i think it was Inoki who Hogan defeated..
some of the maniacs who were with ECW were also amazing.. like Masato Tanaka, Jushin Liger... Tanaka is a maniac.. guy regularly got powerbombed from inside the ring to outside through tables and other things like that

nowadays mtv most of the time do those crappy reality shows
She can do a moonsault on me any dayOriginally posted by the Bear:Amy Dumas was a wrestler long before she was the second of Papi Chulo or someone like that... his finisher was a moonsault.. then after the match, she'd do the same to the hapless victim

Yes. She took a long time to heal from a broken neckOriginally posted by choco B:Is it true she was injured and can't do any serious wrestling? Seems like she's working her assets more than her skills
the ringgirls ain't that bad too.Originally posted by av98m:But leaving out the entertainment aspect, for pure competition I'll always prefer the UFC!!
Originally posted by stellazio:local mtv actually had done a sort of fight show before. cuz we were asked to be the cellafares as one of their directors knew our instructors. no one knew what happened to it later. the fighting chereography was horrible. i think even worse den wrestling.
